The meaning behind these two songs stems back to a trip I took with friends up to Bristol. A friend and I both got ended up in a strangers house party and took some stuff and ended up being ‘intoxicated’. My song ‘Wonderland Part 1’ is basically my words and how I felt about the whole situation, I set it out as though my friend, who took WAY too many ‘intoxicating things’ was trying her best to get down the Rabbit hole and end up in Wonderland (you’ll understand what I mean when I actually post the song). And the meaning behind my current song that I keep posting - ‘Wonderland Part 2’ is about the chaos that happened to both of us that night, after the ‘things’ took hold. We were all alone, in some strange city, miles and miles from home, both scared out of our wits and completely out of control of our bodies and minds. I tried to get the sense of ‘chaos’ and ‘random’ through this song and I am pretty proud how it came out in the end, especially because I used the simple technique of reversing the entire track to get the feel.

I just need to record the ‘first part’ to the story now, it’s completely different, but it’s basically my words on that night, and I guess ‘Wonderland Part 2’ is my state of mind that night.

I just felt like explaining it all because these two songs mean something to me and I’m pretty proud of them, as I’ve said and I just want you to know my story and influence for them both.
